from filmmaker to fashion designer
Brittnay Therese grew up enjoying summer days on quiet, Midwestern lakes and rivers. The serenity of being in nature initiated her love affair with being near the water. Her travels eventually led her to discover a small resort community along Florida's Emerald Coast. The pristine white sand and emerald hued water, along with an active beach lifestyle, are what inspired the vision and mission behind her brand, Emerald Jade.

Two worlds, one mission.
Brittnay Therese spent over 20 years as a filmmaker and media producer. Her passion for creating community through powerful storytelling extends into her swimwear line. Her designs focus on finding balance between fashion and function, and creating timeless pieces that are high-quality to last season after season. Brittnay wants to redefine the swim industry to be more inclusive of different body shapes and active lifestyles.
